On 10/5 I received the hotfix xbox update but noticed after a while, the progress bar never moved past "installing." I would soft restart the xbox and find the progress bar moved considerably: more than half way. Doing it two more times and then giving up and waiting another hour seemingly made the installation process complete. Not the case.

Fast forward to today and I am still unable to play the game. When I click on it, it loads up the red MOJANG screen and then after a minute just darkness. Nothing at all. When I click on the duplicate minecraft title, it says it requires a "0KB" update. When clicking confirm, it pops up in queue at 100% for a second and yeets away with nothing changing. I still get black screen on the first tile and 0KB update on the second.

I have not tried uninstalling and reinstalling for absolute fear that I will corrupt my worlds (as I luckily read the patch notes beforehand). I am very worried about my words, one of which I built with an old friend of mine who passed away.

I want to play the game again, but my priority is keeping my worlds safe. Ultimately it was this update to irresponsibly move all of our worlds that has done this, and there needs to be a fix.
