Bedrock has always had quite an amazing list of bugs but especially noticeable on the Nintendo switch. the console version of the game ran smooth as butter, however some questionable things all add up here. For one, the game has anti-aliasing set to 2 on default. This SEVERALLY hinders the framerate on the switch version. Second,, multiplayer is flawed in every way. I’ve had mobs lag and teleport around even on single player but as soon as even one other player joins, Chests, inventory, and even settings need a dedicated loading bar, that is sad. Along with this, almost every instantce of multiplayer I’ve had, my friends have been able to join AND load into my own world before my game has even booted up, leading to getting killed before I even finished “generating the world.” I’ve also noticed that no matter what, the game is extremely inefficient. It attempts to autosave every 2 seconds and I wish I was exaggerating since autosaves often lead to chunks not loading in for up to 5 to even 10 whole minutes and forcing all other players unable to place, mine, open chests, load new chunks or anything else. Often my game will downright freeze leaving me vulnerable and leading to MANY of my deaths within this game. I understand the Switch is quite old hardware wise, but this game is straight up just not well optimized.
