Before Behavior
I was testing the new Java Perity feature added in Preview 1.19.0.21, involving a new gamemode from Java, Spectator mode.
Spectator Mode is one of the several Game modes, which allows the player to fly around and observe the world without interacting with it in any possible way. Going through Blocks.
But since this was new to Bedrock Edition. I had to report it.
Expected Behavior
I would be able to spectate and look at the deep dark biome generation for the first time.
Observed Behavior
I would somehow get detected by Sculk Sensors in spectator mode, sending signals till they hit a Sculk Shrieker to alert the Warden.
Steps to Reproduce
- Play Minecraft Preview (1.19.0.21)
- Create new world.
- After joining, open chat.
- Enter “/gamemode 6” in chat.
- Fly down through the blocks and find and locate the deep dark biome or place them.
- Go into the Sculk block with a Sculk sensor nearby and fly up, out of the Sculk block.
- Move through and on Sculk blocks in spectator mode and see vibrations being sent to the sensor for walking sounds from your nonexistent feet.
- Observe.
