Slabs have many issues in this version. Before 1.18.10, some competitive pvp players would craft their blocks into slabs and then do a frontwards speedbridge which is a rapid bridge using one click only with them as it saved blocks. The frontwards speedbridge can still be replicated with full blocks, however, in 1.18.10 you can no longer do this with slabs as they seemingly place themselves randomly, rendering this tactic completely useless. Even if this isn't supposed to happen in the first place, slabs still place themselves randomly and sometimes in the wrong direction when trying to place a row of them rapidly in creative mode using only one click. This wasn't an issue in previous versions. Also, I don't know if this can be replicated, but when I played on a large pvp server known as cubecraft and I have stone in my inventory and tried to craft slabs, the slab crafting recipe on the left side of the screen was completely absent and the stone brick crafting recipe appeared twice. On an unrelated note, the players there also appeared extremely jittery.
