I can't enable Ray Tracing and Upscaling for Minecraft for Windows 10, despite having hardware that should be sufficient.
CPU: Intel Xeon E-2286M
Memory: 64GB
GPU: Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000 mobile
My CPU specs are at
These specs (8-core/16-thread, 2.4GHz base clock, 5.0GHz turbo clock) seem sufficient relative to other Intel Core i5 processors
My GPU specs are at
Note the Quadro RTX 4000 mobile should support ray tracing and DLSS, as it's based on the same Turing TU104 chip that's in the GeForce RTX 20 series, and has 40 RT cores. Its specs (2560 CUDA cores, 40 RT cores, 320 Tensor cores, 8GB GDDR6) seem roughly comparable to the GeForce RTX 2070 Super.
Other relevant info:
- The first screenshot shows that I can't enable Ray Tracing and Upscaling in the Video settings.
- The second screenshot shows that Nvidia Optimus is using the Quadro RTX 4000 mobile for Minecraft (and not the integrated GPU).
- I'm using the latest Quadro drivers for my GPU (496.49).
