I've seen complaints about most of these except for the taking damage part. Everything is SEVERELY delayed in the new update, whether it be mining, placing blocks, picking up items, or taking damage. This only happens on existing worlds that got updated to 1.18, and although they were laggy (because the Nintendo Switch version is very buggy in general and needs some work) it was nowhere near this bad.
