I can't use kick or ban commands with tag command. For example, I have command blocks set up in my worlds with the command kick @a[tag=ban] and whomever I wanted to ban I'd tag with the command ban with /tag [player name] add ban and the person would get banned. This helped me in saving of griefing of my world multiple times and worked when I either hosted through minecraft or I made a server and hosted it. But since 1.17, I haven't been able to do it. I have to do it manually. It'd not be a problem but what if I meet hackers? And I have. The only way now to get rid of them was make a command block with testfor [hacker name] and then it'd spam chat for me to kick the hacker. So I found a loophole but I don't exactly have a "buffed" device, and it's slow. It gives hackers time to give their possible friends hacked items or to summon mobs like the ender dragon, or wither. Also, if it wasn't obvious, I use commands a lot. So I tag people with the tag 'admin' or 'op' and set a command that ops the people who are tagged with the tags. But since 1.17 the op and deop commands don't work. People who I trust with admin end up deopping all other people and somehow me as well. So if I was to ban said person, I would type the command halfway, realize I'm not an op, op myself and then ban said person. But this gives him/her enough time to grief plenty of amounts. It takes a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge while to fix such sorts of griefing. Please fix these bugs as soon as possible. I looked hard on the bug tracker and found no similar problem. If you find a bug on the same issue, please do comment it.
