I've never had an issue with getting my villagers and iron golems to use stairs before this new "caves & cliffs" update. I recently made a new world and wanted to make a "villager breeder" or basically just a house for my villagers. I added a downstairs and a upstairs to my house and they won't use neither. I tried multiple different variations of the stairs, destroying blocks, adding new ones, expanding the stairway, and even rotating the stairs completely. The only time my villagers wanted to go downstairs is when i dragged them down in a boat. Even then they had to go back to do their job and they never came back down after that. I just want to be able to have a big village house without having to start all over on something i worked hours on just because villagers are now too dumb to use stairs. I don't know if this post will ever be looked at, but it would be so greatly appreciated if anyone would fix this bug. If it's not possible, either way i'll understand.
