I went out to fight mobs in the night and died. I respawned back at my base, about 100 or so blocks away. I turned the difficulty to peaceful so I wouldn't die again. When I got to my items, I could only pick up about half of them. I then emptied my inventory and they all flew back into my inventory. So while I got all my stuff back in the end, I wanted to report it in case it happens again.
