I don't know if anyone has talked about this, but there's a glitch in character creator that prevents me from appearing as my custom outfit. It only shows myself as Steve or Alex to others, but to myself I see my own custom outfit (I'm not talking about when I'm in the hive, I'm talking about normal survival world in general). When I try to edit parts of my outfit to reset it, I ask my friends to see if anything has changed. It appears that this only causes me to randomly alternate between the two basic skins, and there's a small chance that I will appear as my custom skin to others.

However, if I edit my custom outfit after it is "seemingly" temporarily fixed (showing my custom skin to others), it reverts me back to appearing as Steve or Alex. This is unaffected by classic skins, and it will show me as a classic skin every time I select one that was either free or purchased. This happens to my friends as well, and it's a gamble trying to get our normal custom outfits to show to each other again.
