Nintendo Switch
Since the 1.16.210 update, Minecraft Bedrock Edition has been taking longer start. Upon clicking on the game, I am stuck on a black screen for 2-5 minutes. Then, I am stuck on the red Mojang loading screen for about 5 minutes. In total, taking 7-10 minutes to start the game. After the 1.17 release, I can specify that the loading screen is stuck at 45% for most of that time.
Solutions I have tried include but are not limited to:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the game
- Archiving and redownloading the game
- Contact Minecraft help center (3-4 times)
- Update both my console and my game
- Delete worlds
- Delete marketplace items
- Delete cache data
- Delete saved Switch photos and videos
- Stop playing the game for a couple of days
- Restarting my switch (multiple times)
This problem has only started about a month ago. Doing the research I could, I found that many other people are experiencing the same problem across multiple different devices. I have a friend as well who had the same problem as me. We both get a black screen for 2-5 minutes followed by being stuck at 45% on the loading screen for another 5 minutes.
The image provided is an example of what it looked like before 1.17. The only difference is that after the 1.17 update, the screen provided a percentage.
