So, 1.17 released today and I was going to leave the beta to be able to join up with friends. But, something I didn't know was that the version of the beta was different from normal minecraft. So, I couldn't load up a world that I had loaded in beta. I joined the beta again and their were a load of problems. First of all the Y level had increased, so when I loaded in, I spawned underground (along with nearby entities). Because the Y level was changed, ice was spawning in water sources. Another thing was that all the banners I had in the world had their color changed to black. This also affected mobs heads, as they all had to changed to skeleton heads. Signs were missing their text, item frames were missing their items, and worse of all - all of my items that I had stored in chest and shulkers (but not my ender chest for some reason) were GONE. Now, this might not be considered a bug, and just my own stupidity for not saving a copy of the world. But these bugs have affected my world severely and most of my farms don't work anymore. Until something is fixed, I am forced to start a new world. Below, are screenshots I took. In the third one, villagers were in the trapdoor boxes but because of the height increase, they have most likely suffocated underground.
