(Im writing this text because those bugs exists from 0.12.1 version till 1.16.201, but there are only two versions i can choose in order to create the page, so here you are reading this “P.S.”)

Those bugs are VERY VERY old, but still not fixed. They exists from the version when nether world was added till now. I didnt care about them until “1.16 Nether update” came out. Those bugs made basalt biome impossible, but nobody cares, so here i am. (A bit late but still)

Slimes and magma cubes have some sort of “jump bar”. When its full, they jump. And when you kill them, they splits, and this is where bugs shows themselves: smaller slimes/cubes already have full “jump bar” so they instantly jump towards you (the moment they touch the ground) with acceleration from splitting. And this is bug number 2 (again, nobody saw it as an issue ). The faster slime/cube moves in moment of death, the more acceleration smaller slimes will receive. So those bugs synergies, and as the result when you kill big magma cube with knockback enchant, smaller one instantly reach you out. (slimes have short jump, so its almost not affect them, but still)
