Map markers or waypoints/landmarks are not working on Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft. 

Using the following steps to try and create map markers or waypoints is unsuccessful, they do not appear on the map.  Step 1)Try using a named banner and the map.  Step 2) Try mounting a map on an item frame. Step 3) Try coping a map then place a copy into an item frame to create a landmark. Neither copy of the map shows the landmark. 

In all cases, no marker shows up on the map. 

This appears to be available in the Java and Bedrock edition of the game but does not appear to be available in the Nintendo Switch version of the game thus causing me to submit this as a bug.
