Description:
The render distance for my Windows 10 device decreased from 28 chunks to 16 chunks after the 1.16.201 hotfix. In the 1.16.200 version, the render distance can be set anywhere from 8-28 chunks for my PC. However, in the latest hotfix, the render distance only goes from 6-16 chunks maximum.
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 7500U
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 620
RAM: 8GB
Steps to reproduce(May only affect some devices)
- Update Minecraft to the latest version.
- Open video settings
- Observe that the render distance for some devices may have gone down during the latest update.
Observed Results:
The render distance for my device decreased from 28 to 16 chunks. In the photo attached, this was the render distance during the 1.16.200 update.
Expected Results:
The render distance should not have gone down as my device was capable of handling 28 chunks at 60 FPS
Screenshots/Videos attached: Yes
