I was playing minecraft with my sister. There were multiple blocks that had switched hitboxes, sounds and textures. For example, water, when I place it down, it becomes warped signs and warped stems. When I place grass or torches, it becomes stripped warped stems. Some times, the hitboxes change. For example, my sister placed down dark oak slabs and it looks normal on her screen, in fact, everything looged normal, but when I see it, it is invisible replaced with something that looks like an item frame or picture. I can go through it where the hitbox is not, however, on my sister's screen, I am phasing through the slabs. I fly down and I get stuck on the slab, then teleport below it. The lighting also changes, like the torch, it emits no light when it becomes the stems. Also, whenever I unload the chunk and come back, everything that was broken is normal, however, if I update the block, it is back to being broken. In the inventory, everything looks fine, but when I place it down, it's different. My sister has the same specs as me. Thanks for reading!
