Xbox
My xbox one S was acting very weird so I performed a reset. After the reset I reinstalled Minecraft from the MS store. When I ran Minecraft it had to sync my user data. I had 12 worlds before the reset. After the reset I have 8 worlds and some of them were ones that were deleted over a year ago. Most of my worlds aren't showing up and only three of them are working. It is giving me an error message of sync not completed or world is corrupt. My main world Winding River was 1.2 GB before the reset and now its saying it 2.5 GB. I have deleted local user data server times hopping it would download correctly. I get the same results each time. I down loaded an APP called my files explorer. I went in to the location of the saved worlds The 4 that actually synced are there, My main world Winding river along with three others have empty directories with a single file called SYNC_LOCK.
Upon a little further research it seems its pick up a state of cloud saves from 2019 and all of 2020 cloud saves are missing.
I did a fresh start on my xbox one s. how did this happen? can it be fixed? I have over 2 years work in my missing world
