PlayStation
On Tue Nov 17 2020 a new update was pushed to my Playstation 4. Immediately when starting the updated game, I saw a new disorienting effect where the clouds spin in the opposite direction as the player's POV is rotated. The have always been stationary with respect to the distant horizon and to the ground where the player is located.
This is happening with PSVR, the only way I play Minecraft. If the player stops rotating POV, the clouds stop counter-rotating as well, but they no longer follow the correct east->west drift across the sky.
The Sun during the day and the moon and stars at night behave normally; they do NOT rotate as the player's POV rotates.
I powered down my PS4 but behavior is the same in Minecraft afterwards. PS4 system is updated to latest version 8.0.
EDIT: Here's a short video clip which illustrates the problem - https://youtu.be/BAUdCMdrOc8
