So, me and my friend were on our server (it is over 7 years old, and has been going since Xbox 360) and we went to the storage only to find out that some of his chests were invisible. So I showed him and he seen it too and was very confused, because the day before the 1.16.100 update we were on it and it was all normal. (Also keep in mind he's playing on an Xbox Series X) So when we went to investigate, we tried to open the chest and about a moment later we got disconnected and Minecraft on his Series X crashed saying that he needed to reinstall the game. We tried again to see if it was just a small little error but the exact same thing happened again. So now we are thinking that when the 1.16.100 update came out it caused some issues, and honestly its getting a little annoying where every time there is a game update that something somewhere is ruined until the next update. (And it just loops and goes on and on..) Sorry for not having any video footage of the issue, it says I cant upload files greater then 10MB and its around 35MB. But there is pictures.
