First of all, I would like to note that this isn't a ''duplicate'' of issue https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCL-5546 , as I do not have ByteFence installed on my computer, or anything related to it.
After an update to the launcher (unfortunatelly, I forgot which update it was, but it was maybe three or four updates back?) I started to get this message:
''Failed to download [language file name here].lang (ex: fy_nl.lang, pl_pl.lang...)''
At first, it seemed that trying to launch again worked. But later, the amount of files that the launcher was unable to download started to rise, and it was unable to download about 5-7 files per launch. Soon, not even retrying the launch could help, and I was forced to download the files myself. And then, with the latest update, the number of files doubled, now being about maybe 12-14 files unable to be downloaded by the launcher.

I am able to launch the game by using the link to download the files myself and put them into the right folders following the directory given in the error message. But this is purely annoying and time consuming, and I ask you for your help.

(Again noting that this cannot be solved by uninstalling ''ByteFence'' as suggested here: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCL-5546 , because I simply do not have it installed and would be pleased if you didn't mark this as a duplicate)
