What I expected to happen was:
Open minecraft singleplayer world in 1.10.2

What actually happened was...:
I opened a singleplayer world, and for the first part, it was normal. After the "Building terrain" screen, the text changed to "0%", and the window went black. When I move my mouse, a window pops up saying "Windows is check for a problem" then "Windows will let you know if we find a solution". I am forced to click "Close program", and that repeats every single time.

Is this just a bug in Minecraft or is it my computer??

EDIT: It says it's resolved, but it's not yet.
