Some versions of Minecraft such as 1.18.2 and 1.19.2 are missing in the installation list. So I reinstall the whole Minecraft launcher on the official website. But it got worse, there is no “new installation” button for me to click and I couldn’t play it.
Before I search files on the internet, it said “Sorry, unable to start Minecraft, please check your configuration.” whenever I launched the game.

I downloaded Minecraft launcher several times but it always seemed to have errors or missing files. Everytime I open the launcher, it shows this:

Failed to download file.

Error details: Couldn't download manifest of Java runtime versions.

1.There’s nothing in the installation list before downloaded 1.18.2 on the internet.
2. The problem appeared before I downloaded OptiFine and forge.
