Game appearing as not bought in launcher

    • This is happening on the new launcher, and I don't have Bedrock edition, so as far as I know it's only a Java problem.

      The new launcher seems not to think that I have Minecraft, despite the fact that I have owned it for years. The play button says "PLAY DEMO" instead of "PLAY", but when I press it, I can play Minecraft normally.
