The new launcher consistently says Oh no! Something went wrong, and we couldn't connect to the Minecraft services. Try again.

Ever since I installed the new launcher on Windows 10 it has consistently said Oh no! Something went wrong, and we couldn't connect to the Minecraft services. Try again. I click Try again but it just gives me the same thing. I have restarted my computer several times and I have a stable and fast Internet connection. The old launcher gives me no issue. It also doesn't recognize my purchase of Minecraft, but I can only assume that's because it can't connect to validate my purchase. I have signed out and signed back in, I am signed into the same account that I purchased Minecraft on. I have no other accounts. There's probably already another reported bug but I can't find it.

I don't believe I'm the only one having this problem.
