When I open the launcher and press play and it say's Game ended with bad state (exit code 1)

*What I expected to happen was the game to open.
Describe what you thought should happen here I thought a screen should pop up.

*What actually happened was if just said Game ended with bad state (exit code 1) and nothing happened
Describe what happened here

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Minecraft launcher 1.0.8
2. Log in
3. Press play
