We cannot join with more then one player after the first time in local mode

playing with a new profile. We have versio 1.11 which is suppose to have the fix(1.09), but it is not working. We tried another profile. Worked the first time and the second time we played the same issue. Not other players could join in local mode. 

steps to recreate the issue:

1.Open game with a new profile. 

2. add additional players in local multiplayer coop 

3. Play game (just a couple levels)

4. Exit game 

5. Start with the profile created

6. In the character selections screen press L3 to add additional player.

7. player cannot be added. And L3 is unresponsive.
