I have an Xbox One Elite controller (not series 2), with hair-trigger set up so that I only have to depress the trigger a small amount for it to trigger.
The xbox accessories is configured to register this as a full range press.
Yet, Minecraft Dungeons does not shoot arrows unless I sort of forcible squeeze the trigger just past the point where it stops, sort of deforming the plastic or whatever to get it just a bit more pressed. Then it registers.
I had to create a profile specifically for Minecraft Dungeons and set it so that it registers as a full press long before the trigger bottoms out with the hair trigger setup, only then does it register.
Please look into the setup for this.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Log into an XBox One X using an XBox One Elite (series 1) controller with its most recent firmware.
- Configure the controller from #1 so that the R2 button uses a bumper-like short stroke instead of the usual long stroke. (There is a physical switch that does this on the back of the controller just behind the R2 button and beside the battery cover.)
- Start the latest version of Minecraft Dungeons.
- Go to camp or play in a level.
- Press R2 to shoot bow.
Observed Results:
Bow does not shoot.
Expected Results:
Bow shoots.
