right after the 1.9 download, untamed horses fail to climb/jump up one block when on leash. as a result, if you attempt to corral new horses, they break the leash on the first occasion they encounter one block up terrain change. i've tested with a chicken in the same enviroment, and chicken follows the lead just fine, up and down the hill
