What I expected to happen was...:
Land mobs move slightly slower than me while in the water when they are chasing me so Pigman for instance would be able to get out of the water fast enough to kill me.

What actually happened was...:
Land mobs move really slow in water. If I hit a Pigman in the water, I could run away safely

Steps to Reproduce:
1. ...Get a mob into the water such as a Pigman or a Chicken
2. ...Hit the mob in version 1.7.10, 1.8.8, and the latest snapshot 15w44b and watch how slow they move in the water. In 1.7.10, mobs should move normally. In 1.8.8 and Snapshot 15w44b, mobs move almost 10x slower in water
