Then you put water over an ender crystal it will begin to make some funny light.
The pictures i put in, issent good at showing it, but you can make the setup in a matter of minuts if you want to see it for yourself.
I have only tried this on creative and im not sure if it actually is a bug or just some nice ligthning show...
