So, I've been trying to 15 hours to log in to Minecraft, only to be stopped by the launcher. I've tried the .msi and the .exe and I keep coming to the "Java(TM) Platform SE Binary has stopped working" error. If I try the .msi file, it doesn't even reach the launcher. If I try the .exe I get to the launcher itself but can't get past it. A friend of mine has been trying to help me out for a few hours and we have made virtually no progress. I have looked in dozens of locations to find the answer to (exit code -1073740771), found one instance, and it was never solved. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and Java countless times to no avail. I've tried deleting the .minecraft folder, and so many other suggested solutions and I am still where I began. As such, I'm at a complete loss of what to do.

If anyone has a solution, or an idea of one, it would be greatly appreciated!
