Note: I tested this in a multiplayer environment, not sure if it also affects singleplayer.

If you enter /gamerule in the chat as an op on a multiplayer server, your client will disconnect without any apparent reason.

Also when providing parameters to /gamerule, the gamerule doesn't actually seem to be affected.
