Windows 8 and I don't know the java version, latest probably since I have the java that comes with minecraft.

Unconfirmed
When I accept a resource pack for a server, (even a small resolution
one that only changes one block such as the emerald isle skywars) it either
kicks me and says java illegal argument: parameter 'directory' is not a
directory, or my game just crashes.
What I expected to happen was...:
It has been letting me use the server resource packs until now, so I thought
it would let me play normaly.
What actually happened was...:
It either crashes or kicks me and says the error.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on a server
2. Play a minigame that requires a resource pack and click yes.
3. Wait for kick or crash
