I believe this may have started since 1.7.10, but I can't be sure of it. When you place a sign with colored text while facing positive or negative x, the letters will be as bright and as normal as you see them in chat, which is what players like to see. However, the more they are turned towards positive and negative z, the colors get more dull and harder to read. In the screenshots I have provided, you can see that the yellow text is barely visible, along with the other colors being off-put from their intended colors. I know this happens to most, if not all players because I have asked a few of my friends and have agreed that they receive this as well.

I know you guys are busy, so I'll save you some trouble. As far as I know, I haven't been able to find any report duplicates under the searches 'sign' , 'sign color' , and 'sign position' .
