What I expected to happen was...:
It woul be possible to use OR NOT a glowstone block to deploy a redstone wire, providing wire continuity : up to you to choose if it would be possible to use redstone uppon glowstone bloks, YES or NOT (but not partially yes)
What actually happened was...:
At his time it is only partially possible (not coherent): when I plug a piece of redstone wire on the upper face of a glowstone block it is OK: the wire is operational, but the wire cannot be extended on the vertical face of the block to the layer below the block.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. deploy a small plane of stone
2. plug a glowstone block on it
3. install a piece of redstone wire on the upper face of the glowstone block
4 try to extend the wire to the stone plane: it is not possible: no wire continuity
