Survival
I was exploring my world as normal when huge strips of land running east-west began acting strange. Walking through affected patches would occasionally result in the game becoming jerky and movement being awkward and, in some cases, near-on impossible. In Taiga biomes, snow would not form on the ground and water wouldn't freeze, and trees would not spawn leaves or branches in the affected areas. terrain generated normally and I could place and destroy blocks, which solved the jerkiness issue.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Explore outward to a z coordinate of over 3000 using the nether
2. Begin heading back towards spawn
