Put the summary of the bug you're having here
What I expected to happen was...:
When you look up to see a beacon that has been placed on a pyramid, you see the stream of light emerge from the beacon block. If you are above the beacon block looking down at it, you should still see the stream of light. If you are below the block looking up at it, you should still see the stream of block.
What actually happened was...:
Looking down at the beacon block, I can still see the stream of like, but when I am below the beacon block looking up into the sky, I can no longer see the stream of light.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a pyramid of ore blocks (emerald blocks, diamond blocks, etc) and place a beacon on top to create the beacon. It should produce a steam of light coming from the top as usual.
2. If your player is below the pyramid looking up at the beacon block, you can't see the light coming from the beacon anymore.
