There was a full chunk just gone when I updated to 1.8.
I downloaded the 1.8 update, and loaded my world. I wanted to find some of the new rabbits so I started walking (running really), I expected to see rabbits soon. I suddenly saw a huge hole in the world. I ran up to it thinking it was a ravine, but I was wrong. An entire chunk was missing, and I could see the void. I guess it's just a chunk rendering problem, but I thought I would let you know . I haven't found any others so I don't know if it has happened multiple times or not.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download update
2. Load world
3. walk across plains biome
4. find a huge 16x16 hole in the ground all the way to void.
Don't know if those steps help
3.
