Shortly after updating to the 1.4.7 release, I created a new bed (I've been out exploring, far from home). Went to sleep, woke up blind & rapidly loosing health. Couldn't figure out what was going on until my death message told me that I had suffocated inside a wall. (The bed was placed in a corner, with cobblestone wall behind it, and to one side. The other side of the bed, & the foot, were open space.

I didn't re-spawn at that bed, nor at the previous one I had slept in (the previous stop on my exploration journey), but all the way back at my original spawn point – so I have no hope of getting back to reclaim my stuff within five minutes of game time. Too far away
