'''Summary'''
I thought that where an item could get stuck on the lip of a hopper was fixed but it still happens. When an item touches the side of an hopper it will SOMETIMES get picked up but it's like a few seconds late and while it is on the lip, the hopper will constantly take from the item infinitely duplicating it.
Also sometime when an item goes in a hopper it will still duplicate itself.
'''What I thought should happen'''
When an item falls into the hopper it won't get stuck on the lip and it won't duplicate the item.
'''What actually happened'''
The exact opposite of above. It does get stuck on the lip and it does duplicate if it gets caught on the lip or if it even touches the lip at all
'''Steps to reproduce'''
Build a water path in between a row of blocks until the water has an ending point. Place a hopper 1 block down from ground level (flush with the floor) at the end of the water. Then
-throw an item in either towards the side (if you want to duplicate items getting caught on lip)
-throw the item in the center (if you want it to still be able to catch it on the lip as well as possibly being duplicated)
