*What I expected to happen was to play the game normally and see the new features of the snapshot.

*What actually happened was the game got to the main screen and froze. The background where a minecraft world is spinning is only half there and not spinning. When I try to click on anything like Singleplayer or Multiplayer, the program becomes unresponsive and I have to open up my task manager to force close it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on Minecraft (on my desktop)
2. The launcher runs. I edited my profile for 14w30c / 14w31a (both have the same issue)
3. I pressed save.
4. I clicked on Play Game.
5. The launcher closed and the game started to run.
6. The Mojang logo screen came up and stayed there for a few minutes (longer than ussual.)
7. The main screen came up, but it wasn't fully loaded and I couldn't click on anything without Minecraft becoming unresponsive.

I'm not running on the worlds fastest computer, but I was able to play Minecraft at a constant 40-50 fps with all the lowest settings. I've never had an issue where I couldn't even start the game. 14w29b works just fine, but 30c and 31a aren't working for me.
