What I expected to happen was...:
An fire on top of the hopper that was visible

What actually happened was...:
I couldn't see the fire and it wouldn't burn me, but smoke would show up on it would also burn chicken.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. place down hopper
2. shift right-click on hopper with an flint and steel
