It's very rare, and I can't figure out how to force it to happen, but placing or breaking a block will occasionally cause Minecraft's graphics to, for lack of a better term, spaz out. It switches between fine to not rendering many of the chunks seemingly every frame. The only way I've found to stop it is to change any graphics setting. I obviously can't capture the flickering itself, but I can get a screenshot of weird half of the flickering.
