I've found yet another bug in 14w25a. Stairs appear backwards in your inventory and can only be placed in one direction. No matter where you face, it will always be the SAME direction. The direction problem must also be the cause of the inventory problems.

This applies to all stairs. I have included a picture of the stairs and how they face left even though it was placed facing the same direction I am facing in the picture. It's supposed to be facing me (the camera). And note the image for the stairs in the inventory (this was cut out from a inventory screenshot I took, the box on the bottom is not edited).
