What I expected to happen was...:
i was expecting for the fence gate to be closed like it should be.

What actually happened was...:
what happened was that the fence gate stayed open for no reason

Steps To Activate:
1. Place a fence gate and a pressure plate(any kind)by eachother.
2. Open the fence gate and walk through the side without the pressure plate and stand on the pressure plate.
3. Click on the fence gate like your going to close it and step off, its still open.
4. If you press F3, and look at the fence gate, it said(in the top right corner):Open:NO Powered:YES.
5. And if i walk into the pressure plate and step off it doesn't do any thing
but the fence gate acts like its closed.
6. then when i click it once the way its facing rotates 180 degrees and then it says its open.
