    • Java version: 1.7.0_04
      OS: Windows 7 (version 6.1)
    • Confirmed

When placing a lever directly next to an open trapdoor, open fence gate, or open bottom half of a door, the block is then changed to it's closed state, and the lever is destroyed(it still drops the lever).
(tested in both gamemodes using /gamemode)

What I expected to happen was...:
The lever to be placed normally.

      What actually happened was...:
      Instead, it broke instantly.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Place a trapdoor(or fencegate or door).
      2. Open it.
      3. Place a lever next to it.

Note: does not happen when the lever is placed next to the top half of an open door, but does for the bottom half.
