Edit: fixed the incorrect explanation

When chickens jump under a 1 block high place (a low tree for example) they take suffocation damage. It is bad enough that every time I try to lead a chicken to my farm, it dies before I get there. I don't know if this effects other small mobs or not.

Edit: tested does not effect wolves
