If you use poison on say a cow to get it down to half a heart, then light the block under it on fire, the cow gets killed by the fire block before the game can light it on fire. This means the cow drops raw beef instead of cooked beef. If the cow has more than half a heart left the game will light it on fire and cause it to drop cooked beef as normal. My computer system and game difficulty make no difference to this bug.
