      What I expected to happen was:
      1. If you hold Shift, you can place blocks on mechanisms and blocks with GUI.
      2. Nothing else.

      What actually happened was:
      Holding Shift without block in your hand makes impossible to interact with normally interactable blocks. This applies only for items, empty hand works as intended.

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Build a door.
      2. Take any non-usable, non-placable item like stick to your hand.
      3. Press Shift and try to open the door.
      4. Notice nothing happens.
