I have yet to see anyone report this. I have a world that I've had since either 1.4 or 1.5 something, but I have never had this problem before. I've been using books and quills in this particular world as sort of diary-keeping. I'm writing down what happens all the day etc etc then signing then and putting them in a special chest.
Point is, before I updated, I was in the middle of one such book. Page 24. Every time I write in it, the text sticks around until I either switch between creative and survival or vice versa (it might just be one of them but I'm not sure since I wasn't keeping track) or I save and quit. Then the text is gone.
It's really stressing me out cuz I can't continue playing on that world if I can't keep track of things. It's the whole point of it. And my only other world is one I play with my boyfriend. I'd really appreciate it if this could get fixed, or there's some way to work around it, anything.
